Subject: Council’s participation in XXXIV Federal Trade Fair, Moscow ( Russia ) during February 16-19, 2010 under Focus CIS Programme.

As a step towards promotion of export of wool & wool blended products, the Council has proposed to participate in XXXIV Federal Trade Fair to be held at All Russian Exhibition Centre, Moscow (Russia) during February 16-19, 2010 under Focus CIS Programme.

This fair is the biggest specialized textile and light industry exhibition in Russia . This region represented huge potential for wool & wool blended products due to clod climate. For establishment of regular business in this market repeated participation is necessary. The Council is regularly participating in this exhibition. The members who had participated in this fair during Sept. 22-25, 2009 gained good business as reported by them. As per the MDA guidelines, the grant will be admissible on Space Rent only with a ceiling of Rs.80,000/- and on airfare economy class with a ceiling of Rs.70,000/-.

Interested members are requested to send confirmation for participation in this exhibition latest by 30^th Nov., 2009 alongwith a cheque/DD for Rs.95,000/- towards your contribution for space. The allotment of booth will be on First Come First Served basis.
