Sub: Submission of Data for Export Award for the years  2007-08 & 2008-09

Dear Sir,

We are planning to hold the Export Award Function for the years 2007-08 & 2008-09 in the month of August/September 2009 as per the convenience of Hon’ble Minister of Textiles.

The exporters who have shown outstanding export performance during the years 2007-08 and 2008-09, shall be felicitated with the awards.

In order to enable us to finalize the list of award winners, you are requested to send your export performance sector wise for the period mentioned in the enclosed proforma placed at Annex-I&II.  The types of awards being given are:-

i)   Trophy for Highest Export Performance in each sector with a minimum turnover of Rs. 50 lakhs.

ii)  Trophy for Second Highest Export Performance in each sector with a minimum turnover of Rs. 50 lakhs

iii)  Trophy for Third Highest Export Performance in each sector with a minimum turnover of Rs. 50 lakhs.

iv)   Certificate of Merit for growth in export:-

(a)   For 100% growth with a minimum turnover of Rs. 1 crore & above.

(b)   For 50% growth with a minimum turnover of Rs. 1 Crore & above.

(c)   For 33% growth with a minimum turnover of Rs. 20 lakhs.

v)    To encourage new exporters, Certificates would be given in each sector with a minimum export  performance of Rs. 20 Lakhs and above.

In order to ascertain growth, the export performance for previous year may also be given.  An undertaking, placed at Annex. III, may also be sent.

On the occasion of this event, the Council shall be coming out with a Souvenir.  Members are requested to put an advertisement in the Souvenir. The ad-tariff is given below:-

Back Cover (Colour)                                          Rs. 13,000/-
Inside Front Cover (Colour)                              Rs. 10,000/-
Inside Back Cover (Colour)                              Rs. 10,000/-
Inside Full Page (Black & White)    Rs. 4,000/-
Inside Half Page(Black & White)                     Rs. 3,000/-

Members are requested to send their export performance in the enclosed proforma at Annex. I, an undertaking placed at Annex. II, the Company Profile in the enclosed format at Annex-III and advertisement material in the form of artwork to reach this office by 15th July, 2009.  The Council shall not be responsible in case any member fails to submit his data in above manner by the said date and is thereby deprived of reckoning for award.
