Council’s participation in gREAT INDIA BAZAR, ALMATY (KAZAKHSTAN) during Aug. 14-22, 2010 UNDER FOCUS CIS PROGRAMME.

As a step towards promotion of export of wool & wool blended products, the Council has proposed to participate in Great India Bazar, Almaty ( Kazakhstan ) during August 14-22, 2010 at Atakent Exhibition Centre under Focus CIS Programme. The event is supported by the Embassy of India. There has been a steady expansion of trade between India & Kazakhstan in recent years.

The Great India Bazar is a unique concept based on the model of a retail expo and will provide a perfect platform for the small & medium enterprises to showcase their products to world and generate market. The show would showcase a replica of “Mini India” by providing authentic flavours of the culturally diverse and ethnically rich country in structured format.

As per the MDA guidelines, the grant will be admissible on Space Rent upto Rs.80,000/- and on airfare (economy class) upto Rs. 70,000/-.

Interested members are requested to send confirmation for participation in this exhibition in the enclosed application form latest by 16^th July, 2010 alongwith a cheque/DD for Rs.95,000/- towards your contribution for space rent. The allotment of booth will be on First Come First Served basis.
